Factory Safety Lock Down Tag Out

California factory safety expert has recently been involved in several assignments which are related to injuries in manufacturing facilities. The lesson here is for each employer to have in place specific lock down/ tag out procedures. All repair technicians should be trained on how to implement these procedures. Also, the procedures should include instructions for repair technicians as how to assess if rtemporary repairs to a piece of machinery are adequate from a safety standpoint. If not, this equipment should be taken out of service due to safety concerns. After all, worker safety is a top priority.
